Gibraltar is the perfect place to sample a range of delicious Andalucian dishes. One of the main specialities here is gazpacho soup made from pureed vegetables and breadcrumbs, while meat eaters can sample rabo del toro, which features bull’s tail in a rich tomato sauce. Green olives and kidneys cooked in sherry make good side dishes, while Gibraltar is also famous for its freshly cooked seafood dishes.

 

People who want to indulge in a spot of shopping while spending time in Gibraltar should head straight to Main Street. This long street is lined with a whole host of different shops that sell everything from designer clothing and watching to locally produced handicrafts like glassware and leather goods. There are plenty of bargains to be found here and locally produced items make great souvenirs as well as gifts for friends and family back home.

 

There are plenty of bars to choose from in Gibraltar that serve a wide range of drinks from around the world. However, people who are in search of a more cultural experience should take in one of the special song and dance performances that are held throughout the year in St Michael’s Cave.
