Anyone who looks to make themselves shine as much as the sun out on the beach knows that not only does that perfect bikini body play a role but also that the swimwear does too. To ensure that you are just as hot as the temps outside you should be paying attention to just what was transpiring during London Fashion Week and what that means to swimsuit trends. There are always hot designers aiming to set up the trends for the future and this year was no aberration. You will note that nothing, or at least nothing spectacular, was showcased that was fashion passé and among some of the most hip pieces were those in insanely plunging cuts, cut outs, and sexy tropical prints that are in the same vibe as the exotic locales you may be heading off to for a holiday. And don’t think that all of the jaw dropping reactions are reserved for barely there bikinis, although they do often bring about that reaction, because some of these sizzling metallic one pieces are just as eye catching. The latter also cast off a definite mod appeal as well; should you be looking for a little more control out of your lower brief that actually may be achieved without having to go for a one piece you are in luck. There were multiple two piece bikini designs that have strayed from the theme of baring as much of that belly as possible and the high waisted look may be coming back. One such instance comes in the way of Topshop’s new collection where everything is about hot colours and strategic cut outs. With the blue, red, and white stripes of this high waisted suite you may be looking a bit nautical, but the larger bottom is nicely put off by the deep v-neck of the top. Fun straps on top seemed to be a common thread across various lines with others that are halters and some criss crossing in the front. One unique hybrid between a one and two piece was achieved with the tear drop cut away in the middle and the unique series of skinny crossing straps on top that makes one looking nothing short of a dashing Bond girl. Those sporty girls are also getting paid some attention with a few labels channelling just that look. A few briefs were looking something akin to a micro running short and bordering on the boy cut brief but they retain an obvious feminine appeal to strike that perfect balance. So it seems that the bikini fashion icons have spoken and in turn began rolling out their latest lines for you to eagerly devour.
