Models help to launch flower show
A group of models helped to launch the first day of the Chelsea Flower Show, wearing swimwear as bright as the blooms on display. They posed for the cameras amongst the flowers, on what was one of the hottest days of the year. Among the highlights was a girl relaxing in a bath of peonies and two Australian models in bikinis who posed in a spa in the Trailfinders Australian Garden, which later received a visit from the Queen. Guests were also greeted by a performance artist clad only in body paint and a thong. The competition to find the best garden at the show has now begun, with 15 show gardens, 21 small gardens and hundreds of exhibits for the judges to choose from. Gardeners competing to be top dog at the west London site have had difficult conditions to contend with this year, from late frosts to extreme heat.
