Buying beach wear for someone else?

If you really dont know and cannot find out, it might be best to buy a one size fits all item, never guess as this could land you in a lot of trouble!

Getting The Correct Bust Measurement

Step 1 - Measuring your Bra Band / Back?Band Size

Firstly you need to work out your bra band / back measurement. To do this simply use your tape measure and measure under your bust around your rib cage, make sure that the tape measure is straight and not too tight or too loose but sits comfortably.

Use this measurement and add 5" to it and you have your bra band size.

For example; if your measurement was 29" + 5" then your band size would be 34".

If your band size measurement works out as an in between size such as 33" then you should try the bigger size i.e 34". If this feels too big then try the smaller size and go with the more comfortable fit.

Step 2 - Measuring your cup size?

Cup SizeTo measure your cup size you should take the tape measure and measure around the fullest part of your bust, once again make sure that the tape measure is straight across your back and not too tight or too loose but sits comfortably.

Next, take your bra band size from step one and minus it from your cup size measurement you have just taken to calculate your cup size. Use this conversion chart to help you.

Less than 1"– AA Cup
1 inch – A Cup
2 inches – B Cup
3 inches – C Cup
4 inches – D Cup
5 inches – DD Cup
6 inches – E Cup
7 inches – F Cup

For example; If your cup size measurement is 38" and your band size measurement is 34" there is a different of 4", so from the chart above you can see that’s a D Cup.

Don’t be shocked if this measurement is nothing like the current size bra you are wearing, 70-85% of women are wearing the wrong size bra and it’s important that you get the correct fit!
