We are loving our new cover-ups so much that I don't think i'd want to take them off even on the beach, unless maybe it was to reveal one of their stunning matching bikinis, but that's another post! First we have the Maryan Mehlhorn Portofino Shirt which will look fantastic with any nautical styled ensemble and is perfect for the walking along the beach and keeping cool or for casual evenings when the temperature drops slightly. It is super soft and comfortable with a cute anchor motif in navy sequins. Next the Marayan Mehlhorn Capri Shirt - Simple but super stylish and a type of sexy in a way that only a cute over-sized shirt can portray. It is very wearable not only on the beach, i'd be tempted to pair it with leggings and sandals in the summer when you want a cool, loose outfit but want to be a bit more covered up. Maryan Mehlhorn is a bit less casual than the previous two and would look fantastic straight from the beach or pool in the evening to waterside bars. It is loose and comfortable but the fashionable neckline with detailing looks luxurious and sophisticated, you won't need to even accessorize - unless you really want to! Another cute over-sized shirt we couldn't resist is the Havana Solid Sally Chemise Dress from ViX. It's made from soft linen which is great for keeping cool on hot days and it's long sleeves will be welcome when it's slightly cooler in the evening. It has a plunging neck line for a feminine look but has strap detailing which helps prevent the shirt from slipping off the shoulders giving more security when moving about. Fantasie have embraced monochrome pattern with the Koh Samui Kaftan for a striking but elegant look and is very on trend this season. The kaftan is fitted under the bust with adjustable draw strings so you can wear it as loose or as fitted as you like. When worn more fitted it gives a beautiful feminine silhouette and enhances your bust.
Ted Baker have really pulled it out of the bag with this drop dead gorgeous print which is looks as equally stunning in bikini and swimsuit form. Definitely a favorite from this season - the painterly floral pattern is dramatic and pretty at the same time and a real head turner. The riot of colour seems to melt out of the black and there is a wonderful romantic dappled light effect to the flowers. The Oil Painting Jaykayla Cover Up will take you from day to night with it's flowing shape and low neckline. Another fantastic Kaftan from Fantasie is the Madagascar Batwing Sleeve Kaftan in Desert Rock. This animal print cover-up is gorgeous and will look fantastic against all skin tones. The drawstring gives great shape and enhancement to the bust area and gives you the choice to wear it however loose you like. The neckline is low and gives a attractive shape coupled with the pulled in strings under the bust. The Dancing Leaves Clarah Cover-Up is by Ted Baker and they have given us another darling print, depicting sweet leaves, birds, butterflies and dragonflies. This delicate cover-up has wide cross back style straps which allow you to move confidently and it has a slightly higher neckline for a more conservative look. The sheer material is luxourios and light. This is just a very very pretty cover-up that we know you'll love! From Vix we also have this elegant Solid Pipa Kaftan, which is made from cotton which will be very comfortable in hot weather, especially with the gorgeous laser cut leaf detail all over the cover-up. The neckline is versatile and can be worn either fully open, drawn together with the small fastening or completely closed with the rope tassels which hang down the length of the Kaftan, finished with gold. There is also a halter neck strap for extra security. Last but not least there is the colourful Baroque Tunic in Rose from Maryan Mehlhorn which is exotic and romantic at the same time. Pastel hues look amazing against all skin tones and they also work well with the paisley baroque inspired patterns and vintage roses throughout the Kaftan. The elasticated ruffle long sleeve cuffs are romantic and elegant coupled with the dainty pleats off the shoulder.
